DC Archives Listed by Publication Date
This page lists the books in The DC Archive Editions (also called the DC Universe Archives) published by DC Comics, which have a common book and dust-jacket design and which reprint stories originally published by DC Comics and its direct corporate predecessors, by Charlton Comics, by Fawcett Publications, and by Quality Comics Group. The books are listed in publication order; note that they are not actually numbered this way by the publisher.
This is the format of each listing: Title, Creators in order of appearance in the table of contents; d/j artists; Foreword author (copyright date; page count; first-printing price in US dollars) (Original publications)
The first seven volumes do not have tables of contents in their first printings; the creator credits listed here are from the Grand Comic-Book Database. The eighth volume also lacks a table of contents but one was later distributed as a tip-in sheet. (I think subsequent editions of at least some of the first volumes did have tables of contents; I'd appreciate hearing from you if you have one of them.)
A similar list of these books in publication order is at DC ARCHIVES, at a website maintained by John L. Censullo. He includes not only the DC Universe Archives but also the other archives published by DC, as well as many of the other DC high-end hardcover books. His site also has some interesting charts analyzing the cost-per-page of the books over time. Scroll to the bottom of the DC ARCHIVES page for links to the charts.
A list of these same books arranged by series is here.
